Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

Is it possible to have too many pumpkin recipes?  I don't think so!  I love pumpkin and I especially love when I can create something using pumpkin and it is healthy!

Today I am sharing my Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal recipe.  It is so easy to prepare (has to be... I like things to be quick and easy) and will make enough for a few days worth of breakfast for one person!  The addition of the yogurt, chia and hemp really ups the protein factor.  Of course I try to add matcha whenever I can :)

Pumpkin Matcha Smoothie

The season for pumpkin everything is here and for a limited time there are some pretty great specials at Steeped Tea. One of the items is Pumpkin Matcha - yum!  I love everything pumpkin.... what about you?!

I decided to try my hand at making a pumpkin smoothie and boy it is so delicious!  Believe me, you are going to love it so I do suggest getting your hands on some of our Pumpkin Matcha while you can!

Next time I am going to try some vanilla greek yogurt instead of the protein powder but I didn't have any this time - which is unheard of... I always have some in my fridge!

With every $60 spent you get to choose one of the specials for
ONLY $15!!!
Makes a great gift for you or someone else.

pssst-------> The first special has both the dip mix and the matcha!

Chocolate Zucchini Loaf with a Twist

Counting calories can make it difficult to eat enough of some essential foods and nutrients.  That is why I try to make every bite count.  I always alter recipes so that I am getting more 'bang for my buck' and this Chocolate Zucchini Recipe is an example of how I do that.

As a child I loved when my mom baked, and like any child... if it was chocolate I liked it even more. One of my favorites was my mom's chocolate zucchini loaf recipe.

In keeping with my nutrition background I knew, as an adult I had to alter it.  I did and today I altered it even more!  I used to cut down the butter or margarine and add applesauce, now I substituted the margarine for coconut oil and greek yogurt.  I have also added hemp hearts and chia seed to help up the protein factor and finally added some ground flax.

It is yummy and even my hubby, who doesn't usually eat baked goods, took 3 pieces (probably fooled him with the chocolate ;)  )  I also snuck in a bit of Matcha.

Ghouls Night In

Theme parties, they are fun.  Today I have created the makings of a fun Girls Night In.  Think girls night doing some manis and pedis but with a twist... instead of Girls Night In I have created a Ghouls Night In.  Wouldn't it be fun?!

First up, you need an invitation.

Now for the party.  All decked out and ready.  Halloween themed paper (from My Mind's Eye) along with some purple accents because Jamberry is all about the purple!

What Ghouls Night would be complete without a couple of purses.  I have up cycled some purses for this display.  I love when I can up cycle things.

Spray painted some bottles that were heading to the recycling and then added some tags I created using some Unity Stamps

To see the full collection of Holiday Style Wraps click on the photo!

***Now I do have a couple of dates open for a fun Ghouls Night In.  Do you have some girlfriends who would love to come over and do some manis?  Why not make it extra fun? ***

Contact me for the dates that are available --->  email me (see side bar) and let's party!
